Wall Street Journal: Santos’ Latest Gas Deal Could Be Takeover Bait-Analysts

“The Wall Street Journal reported that “takeover talk around Santos Ltd. (STO.AU) is intensifying again ahead of Sept. 1, when oil and gas giants that may have been restricted from making a hostile bid for the company have their hands freed . . . Global consultants Poten & Partners estimate that unmet global LNG demand could reach 180 million tons a year by 2020.”
