Understanding the forecast for Chinese LNG demand

The evolution of the Chinese market in the coming years contains great uncertainty. Questions around the country’s future natural gas demand, the volume of gas that will be imported via pipeline from Central Asia and Russia and the degree to which the country is able to keep up growth in non-traditional sources of gas (CBM and tight gas) have a large impact on the outlook for LNG demand growth in to the country.
