The Road to Recovery
At the onset of the financial crisis last year, the fourth quarter of 2009 was targeted as the likely beginning of a recovery in the international economy. With the fourth quarter now upon us, things are, in fact, undeniably less bad than they have been. There are budding signs of life in the international economy. Can tanker freight-rates be far behind? Despite some lingering uncertainty about the future, there is a sense that the tanker market may have already seen the worst.
