3 Jan 2020: Top Reported Dirty Spot Charterers for 2019*

As we have reached the end of the decade, we are compiling the last list of top charterers of the 2010’s. Unipec continues to dominate. While the total number of reported dirty spot fixtures in 2019 declined by almost 9% from 2018, Unipec‘s volumes and market share continues to grow. Last year Unipec controlled 17% of all dirty cargoes globally, compared to 14.7% in 2018.

Other notable mentions in the ranking are Petrobras (moving up to 9th from 18th), Equinor (new at 19th) and SK Corp (new at 20th).
