The Buzz to Come
To stop the United States’ gasoline production crashing into the 10% ethanol blending wall, the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) recently swerved and approved registrations for blends with up to 15 percent of the diluent. While owners of older model vehicles and other internal combustion engines might harbor concerns that use of E15 gasoline might transform their prized possessions into roadside trash, the EPA does not. Elaborate procedures have been formulated by parties-at-interest to prevent the real world miss-fueling and this seems to be enough assurance for the Agency.
