Top Reported Dirty Spot Charterers for 1H 2020*

 As we have reached the end of the first half of 2020, it is good to take stock of this unprecedented year so far.  As you will see in the below charts and table, many rankings have stayed the same, but the unusual oil and tanker markets of this year have led to some interesting changes.  Not surprisingly, given the massive hit to global oil demand, the overall volume of reported dirty spot fixtures in 1H 2020 declined compared to the same period of 2019 (from 4,623 to 4,305), a reduction of 7%.  The overall spot cargo volume declined by 3%, indicating that the average cargo size increased relative to last year.
