Riviera Maritime Media: BP Shipping partners with Windward for sanctions due diligence

In 2019, BP Shipping was assessed by Poten Partners as the sixth largest charterer in the tanker market. As such, it has a huge potential exposure of working with counterparties that may have current or historical trade links with entities on a sanctions list. By partnering with Windward, BP Shipping is looking to minimise those risks, such as the sanctions imposed on some COSCO tanker companies.
