Reuters: US Clean Oil Product Exports Jumped Thirty Percent
“U.S. exports of clean refined oil products in 2010 were 30 percent higher compared with 2009, U.S. shipbroker Poten & Partners said on Monday. Exports, mainly destined to Latin American markets, surged because of economic weakness in the United States which drove retail demand for gasoline and industrial demand for diesel down, the shipbroker said in a report. Poten expects this year’s exports to match, if not exceed, those of 2010.”
