“Powering the Markets: The Chinese Colossus”
On Tuesday February 10, the Norwegian-American and Hellenic-American Chambers of Commerce held their tenth annual joint shipping conference in the New York Helmsley Hotel. This year’s conference entitled “Powering the Markets: The Chinese Colossus,” focused specifically on the economic, financial and legal factors within China. China is fueling shipping demand across the entire industry. The conference drew well over 150 shipowners, charterers, lawyers, brokers and others.
