Platts: LNG to Play Larger Role in Meeting Global Demand

“LNG is expected to play a key role in meeting growing global demand in the future, market participants said Tuesday at Informa’s LNG Global Congress in London. . . . According to an official from Poten and Partners, LNG demand in the Pacific Basin is expected to reach about 280 million mt/yr (equivalent to 35.8 Bcf/d of gas) by 2030, with 160 million mt/yr for the Atlantic Basin.”
