14 Oct 2016: Over the last couple of weeks, the focus of the energy world has shifted back to OPEC after Non-OPEC stole the limelight for a number of years. The International Energy Agency (IEA) estimates that 2016 total Non-OPEC crude oil production will amount to 52.0 Million barrels per day (Mb/d), down from a peak of 53.5 Mb/d in Q4 2015 and about 62% of global crude oil supply. However, both IEA and OPEC forecast Non-OPEC production to resume growing in 2017, indicating that we cannot ignore this area.
