More Oil in the Pipeline
12 Apr 2019: As anybody who follows the oil industry knows, U.S. crude oil production has grown rapidly in recent years. According to the EIA, the U.S. currently produces around 11.9 Million barrels per day (Mb/d); 5.4 Mb/d more than in 2012. U.S. oil production growth over these six years was similar to the total production of Canada and more than the total production of any OPEC country except for Saudi Arabia. The production growth has been so fast that the pipeline infrastructure had trouble keeping up.
