LPG Market Outlook: US LPG production reaches pre-pandemic levels

LPG production in all regions except the mid-continent has exceeded pre-pandemic levels. The top graph shows an index of production for the major LPG producing regions in the country. For this index, production in March 2020 is set to 100. The recovery in LPG production is consistent with the recovery in natural gas production (see LPGMO November 2021). Not only has gas production recovered, but the volume of LPG produced per unit of gas (GPM) has increased for the country as well, indicating more efficient processing of produced gas.
