Low Imports Leave US Regas Owners Grasping At Straws
With second quarter US LNG imports registering a 27% drop on last year, optimism surrounding an impending surge of LNG into the US is starting to wane. Recently announced plans by Cheniere to export LNG from its Sabine Pass receiving terminal in Louisiana offered a view of the market that comes much to the chagrin of regas asset holders.
