Poten Advises:
Graham Hoar is the Global Head, Clean Fuels & Chemical Advisory at Poten & Partners based in London and has successfully delivered value throughout his career in plant operations, energy & chemicals advisory and technology licensing.
Graham has strengths in strategic planning, commercial and techno-economic analysis as well as extensive experience in project and business evaluations/privatisations. He has also led commercial and technical/environmental due diligence support for many project finance and M&A activities as well as expert witness/litigation support.
Previously Graham led the Ammonia, Syngas & Fertilizers Technology business at KBR Sustainable Technology Solutions. Before KBR, he led Nexant Energy & Chemicals Advisory’s global C1 chemicals & fertilizers activities and its West European region having previously led its Middle East region from Bahrain.
He has also worked for ICI, DuPont and Terra Nitrogen in technical and operations management roles. He is a Chartered Engineer with a 1st Class Honours Chemical Engineering degree from the University of Birmingham, UK.
