Brazil is South America’s largest nation occupying more than half of the continent with its largest population of 185 million. Brazil, the tenth largest energy consumer in the world and the third largest in the Western Hemisphere after the Unites States and Canada, is undergoing rapid development with a growing population: a prescription for greater energy consumption.
