Bloomberg: Global LNG Glut to Reverse by 2014-2015
“Reporting from The Queensland LNG Developments Conference, Bloomberg’s Angela-Macdonald-Smith wrote that “[a]n emerging glut in global liquefied gas caused by plant startups and a drop in energy demand is set to reverse by 2014 or 2015 . . . The market may then be short of supply through 2020, pointing potentially to a ‘bright future’ for the line-up of proposed LNG projects in Australia’s Queensland state, Daryl Houghton, the manager of Asia-Pacific at New York-based Poten & Partners, said today.”
