Bloomberg: Caribbean Tanker Rates Are Unchanged Amid High Oil Inventories

“Amid high oil inventories and lower refinery utilization rates, the rates to ship crude oil from the Caribbean basin were unchanged. An Aframax tanker was hired for an average rate of Worldscale 145, which according to Poten & Partners is “equivalent to about $20,280 per day after expenses such as fuel and port fees.”
