- East Coast retail asphalt prices were all flat, with retail flux markets moving lower for this week.
- Wholesale asphalt barge assessments were unchanged this week, with flux barge pricing softening.
- Midwest wholesale markets were a bit firmer on reported barge and rail activity. Flux prices eased.
- Rack prices in the Midwest were unchanged, with demand very limited.
- Gulf Coast asphalt and flux retail pricing assessments are all steady this week, with sluggish activity.
- Asphalt barge pricing on the Gulf Coast is flat, with asphalt rail and flux barge pricing also unchanged.
- Rocky Mountain markets had some selling ranges adjusted. Price reductions were noted in Arizona.
- Rockies wholesale asphalt prices were reported within the previous week’s range for January supply.
- In the Pacific Northwest, Oregon markets had higher price adjustments. Other Pacific Northwest areas were flat. California markets had lower prices for both northern and southern California areas.
- In western Canada, retail markets were flat but wholesale markets prices were lower for the week.
- In eastern Canada, both Quebec and Ontario markets were unchanged versus the previous week.
- Oil prices were up for all benchmark grades for the beginning of the year.
