- East Coast retail asphalt prices declined in some areas, with flux pricing steady in the region.
- Wholesale asphalt and flux barge price assessments on the East Coast hold steady for the week.
- Midwest barge prices were reported in a mostly lower but broad range on sales activity. Rail prices were modestly lower for September. Roofing flux markets were generally steady.
- Midwest rack markets were mostly steady for the start of September. Activity resumed after Labor Day.
- Gulf Coast rack asphalt and flux prices were reported as status quo, with assessments unchanged.
- Asphalt and flux barge pricing on the Gulf Coast was stable, with asphalt rail prices also static.
- Rocky Mountain locations had mostly steady rack prices for the start of September.
- Wholesale asphalt prices in the Rockies are in a lower range for September.
- West Coast markets had flat pricing for Pacific Northwest. In California, Alaska markets had a lower price range, while other areas were steady for the week.
- In western Canada, both retail and wholesale markets were status quo.
- In eastern Canada, Quebec markets had higher posted prices, but Ontario markets were flat.
- Oil prices were up for all benchmark crude oils, by around $2 a barrel.
