- The Midwest barge markets had sales within a wider band of prices. Rail prices were mostly reported within the lower part of the previous week’s assessed range. Flux markets were flat.
- Midwest rack markets slipped in some northern locations but were steady elsewhere in the region.
- Gulf Coast rack asphalt and flux prices were reported as stable, with assessments status quo.
- Asphalt barge pricing on the Gulf Coast slipped, with asphalt rail and flux barge prices unchanged.
- Rocky Mountain region had mostly steady rack prices this week.
- Wholesale asphalt prices fell sharply for September material.
- West Coast markets had flat pricing for Pacific Northwest but higher prices California locations.
- Western Canada retail markets were flat but wholesale asphalt markets were lower for September.
- In eastern Canada, both Quebec and Ontario asphalt prices were in higher levels.
- Oil prices were up for all benchmark crude oils.
