- East Coast retail asphalt prices firmed in some areas, with retail flux pricing status quo.
- Wholesale asphalt and flux barge pricing on the East Coast held steady this week.
- August barge and rail prices narrow somewhat in the Midwest, with roofing flux steady.
- Midwest racks had very few changes to posted prices and assessed selling ranges.
- Gulf Coast rack asphalt prices were flat or up, with flux rack price assessments steady.
- Wholesale asphalt and flux pricing on the Gulf Coast was flat, with assessments unchanged.
- Rockies asphalt prices were assessed as steady in all but one location.
- Rockies wholesale prices were flat for the start of August.
- West Coast markets had some price increases in selective locations to start August. Roofing flux prices were unchanged.
- Western Canada retail and wholesale asphalt markets were status quo.
- In eastern Canada, both Quebec and Ontario asphalt selling and posted prices were stable, meanwhile, their Indexes went lower for July, with Nova Scotia’s Index firming.
- Oil prices were up for all benchmark grades, with U.S. crude inventories falling sharply.
