- East Coast retail asphalt price assessments are mixed, while flux retail prices are steady this week.
- Wholesale asphalt and flux barge prices on the East Coast are assessed higher to begin June.
- Midwest wholesale asphalt prices for June remain in previous assessed ranges for late-May on strong demand. Roofing flux prices were mostly steady, with only a few modest increases reported.
- Rack markets restarted following the Holiday, with Midwest prices mostly steady.
- Gulf Coast rack asphalt price ranges slipped in many areas, with flux rack pricing unchanged.
- Wholesale asphalt and flux pricing on the Gulf Coast were flat this week, with assessments stable.
- Rocky Mountain rack prices slid lower in a number of markets, with the rest steady or slightly higher.
- Rockies wholesale prices for June were mostly within the previous week assessed range.
- In West Coast, Pacific Northwest retail asphalt markets were flat, while some California locations had lower pricing. Roofing flux prices were also lower in both Pacific Northwest and California locations.
- Western Canada retail markets were flat, while wholesale prices moved up.
- In eastern Canada, both Quebec and Ontario markets were steady this week.
- Oil prices were mixed this week. WTI and Brent crude prices were lower, while WCS prices were up.
