- East Coast retail asphalt price assessments were mixed this week, while flux retail prices are steady.
- Many wholesale asphalt prices on the East Coast firmed, with flux barge prices flat this week.
- Midwest wholesale prices were steady for April supply, with May being negotiated next week.
- Midwest rack markets had limited activity this week. Prices were status quo. Flooding is noted for rivers in northern areas of the Midwest, including the upper Mississippi River system.
- Gulf Coast rack asphalt and flux price ranges are assessed unchanged again this week.
- Wholesale asphalt and roofing flux price assessments on the Gulf Coast are steadfast this week.
- Rockies rack markets were generally steady this week. Activity is limited this early in the year.
- Rocky Mountain wholesale prices were unchanged for April supply. May prices are being negotiated.
- In West Coast, both Pacific Northwest and California markets were steady.
- Western Canada retail and wholesale prices were status quo this week.
- In eastern Canada, Quebec markets were flat. Ontario markets had higher posted prices.
- Oil prices were down this week for all benchmark grades, by around $4-5 a barrel.
