- Midwest retail prices mostly steady for the start of February, with little rack activity noted.
- Wholesale asphalt prices rose for February, with supply limited from some sources.

- Rockies racks remain mostly quiet, with frigid weather hitting the northern areas this week.
- Wholesale prices from Rocky Mountain refiners moved higher for February—some facilities are having operating problems.

- Western Canada is very cold and quiet—retail prices flat–wholesale prices firm for February.

- March NYMEX West Texas Int. crude (WTI) rises $2.39 this week, to $99.88 a barrel.
- March Western Canadian Select (WCS) holds near $78 a bbl—$21.75 under March WTI.
- March North Sea Brent crude rises $3.17, going to $109.57 a bbl—or near $10 over WTI.
