- A late week deadly winter storm brought frigid temps, snow, or rain to much of the U.S. and Canada.
- East Coast retail asphalt and flux prices were steady on very limited activity going into the holidays.
- East Coast asphalt wholesale asphalt and flux assessments are unchanged this week.
- Midwest wholesale prices for asphalt are adjusted in a wider band for barges and steady for rial supply and roofing flux. Activity was minimal this pre-holiday week.
- Midwest rack posted/reference prices were steady, with selling ranges flat. Paving is done for 2022.
- Gulf Coast rack asphalt and flux price ranges were steady on limited activity.
- Gulf Coast wholesale asphalt barge sales were at modestly higher prices, with roofing flux static.
- Rocky Mountain rack selling prices were steady in all areas except one. Markets were quiet.
- Rockies wholesale asphalt prices are assessed in a steady range with December material committed.
- In West Coast, both Pacific Northwest and California markets had no price changes.
- In western Canada, both retail and wholesale markets unchanged versus the previous week.
- In eastern Canada, both Quebec and Ontario markets were flat this week.
- Oil prices were up notably for all benchmark grades this week, by more than $4-5 a barrel.
