- Some East Coast retail asphalt prices are lower, with flux retail prices declining across the region.
- East Coast asphalt and flux barge assessments declined in the region this week.
- The Midwest wholesale asphalt barge range narrowed, with rail prices holding steady. Flux prices were steady too. The potential for a rail strike was moved back to no earlier than December 4.
- Midwest selling price assessments were steady in almost all areas except Oklahoma. Cold and wet/snowy conditions were noted this week for much of the region and the upcoming weekend.
- Gulf Coast asphalt retail price assessments declined in some areas, with flux retail prices stable.
- Asphalt barge prices firmed somewhat on the Gulf Coast, with flux barge pricing unchanged.
- Rocky Mountain rack selling prices held steady this week. Activity was limited by cold/snow in areas.
- Rockies wholesale asphalt prices were mostly reported at the previous week’s range.
- Some Pacific Northwest market prices were down. In West Coast, Alaska markets had lower price assessments. Other West Coast areas had no price changes.
- In western Canada, both retail and wholesale markets were status quo.
- In eastern Canada, both Quebec and Ontario markets were unchanged for the week.
- Oil prices plunged for all benchmark grades this week more than $6-8 a barrel.
