  • East Coast asphalt barge pricing moved notably lower this week, with flux barge pricing unchanged.
  • Midwest wholesale asphalt prices slid on further reports of lower priced sales for barges and rail sales.  Flux markets are lower for September material as well.
  • Midwest rack posted/reference prices were mostly steady, with only a few adjusted locations.
  • Many Gulf Coast asphalt retail prices are assessed lower, with flux pricing static in the region.
  • Asphalt barge price assessments on the Gulf Coast are sharply lower, with flux barge prices flat.
  • Rocky Mountain rack selling prices were steady in most areas and lower in a few others.
  • Rockies wholesale asphalt prices were mostly steady this week, after declining the previous week.

  • In eastern Canada, Quebec markets were in lower price levels. Ontario markets were steady.
  • Oil prices moved down modestly for all benchmark grades versus the previous week.
