  • East Coast retail asphalt and flux pricing decline in many areas for the week.
  • Asphalt and flux barge prices move lower on the East Coast.   
  • Midwest asphalt retail prices mostly steady, with some flux retail price declines this week.
  • Wholesale asphalt markets assessed flat in the Midwest, with flux wholesale prices lower.
  • Gulf Coast retail asphalt pricing decreases in many areas, with retail flux prices mostly flat.
  • Barge prices for asphalt and flux declined notably on the Gulf Coast again this week.
  • Rocky Mountain retail prices were steady this week, with activity focused on warmer areas.
  • Rockies wholesale prices were flat this week. Many refineries have been cutting crude runs.
  • West Coast markets were static both in Pacific Northwest and California areas.          
  • In western Canada, retail and wholesale asphalt prices were status quo this week.
  • Asphalt prices are lower in Quebec markets. Ontario markets were static this week.
  • Crude prices declined this week, due to shrinking global crude storage caused by the continuing low demand on transportation fuels. May WTI contract fell by around 300% on Monday, largest drop in history, to around −$37 per barrel, which was the first time ever recorded for a below 0$ level for WTI crude. The contract expired on Tuesday.
