- Wholesale asphalt and flux pricing moved sharply lower on the East Coast.
- Midwest retail selling prices slipped lower in many locations for the start of September.
- Wholesale asphalt prices headed lower for barges, rail and flux in the Midwest.
- Gulf Coast retail asphalt and flux prices declined in many areas to begin September.
- The asphalt and flux barge ranges eased down on the Gulf Coast this week.
- Rocky Mountain retail prices were mostly steady, with only a few changes. Wholesale prices declined for September material.
- West Coast markets noted lower prices for California. Pacific Northwest was mostly steady.
- Western Canada retail prices were static, with wholesale markets moving lower.
- Eastern Canada asphalt selling price assessments are lower for both Quebec and Ontario.
- Benchmark oil prices were higher for all grades, WTI – Brent spread narrowed this week.
