- East Coast retail asphalt prices were mixed this week, with flux prices softer this week.
- Wholesale asphalt and flux barge ranges declined on the East Coast.
- Most Midwest retail prices were steady, but selling ranges are adjusted higher in a few spots. Paving is improving with drier condtions. Flux markets were steady for June supply.
- Wholesale asphalt prices were firmer for June supply, but flux was flat. Barges were limited by flooding and high river water levels.
- Gulf Coast retail asphalt prices fim in some areas, with flux price ranges assessed flat.
- The wholesale asphalt assessment slipped on the Gulf Coast – flux barges are stable.
- Rocky Mountain markets had some higher selling ranges. Wholesale prices rose for June.
- West Coast asphalt prices firm in Pacific Northwest spots, but slip in some California.
- Western Canada retail markets reported mostly flat, except firmer asphalt prices in Manitoba. Alberta wholesale asphalt prices are assessed higher this week for June material.
- Eastern Canada markets are assessed steady. However demand is increasing in that area.
- Crude markets firmed for the week for all benchmark grades on global supply worries.
