- East Coast retail asphalt and flux prices mostly steady, with firmer prices in some FL areas.
- East Coast wholesale asphalt and flux barge prices unmoved for the week.
- Suppliers held prices steady in Midwest markets, but a few selling ranges firm slightly.
- Midwest wholesale prices are unchanged for barges and rail. Buyers have ample inventory.
- Gulf Coast retail asphalt and flux prices are status quo for this week.
- The wholesale asphalt band slips somewhat, with flux barge prices on the Gulf Coast flat.
- Rocky Mountain retail prices were mostly flat, with very few exceptions.
- Rockies wholesale markets were flat. Supply continues to vary widely between refiners.
- This week’s West Coast retail selling ranges were mostly steady.
- Western Canada selling and posted prices are steadfast into May.
- Both selling and posted prices declined in Quebec. Price ranges are flat in Ontario.
- Crude prices partly recover recent losses–June WTI at $47.88/bbl–up $1.66/bbl this week.
- June West. Can. Select crude (WCS) climbs to $38/bbl FOB Alberta—still $10 under WTI.
- July North Sea Brent oil rises to $50.89 a bbl, or $1.79/bbl this week.
