- East Coast retail asphalt prices softer in some areas, with flux pricing static.
- Some East Coast CIF wholesale asphalt price ranges widen, with FOB and flux prices flat.
- It was another week of flat prices and steady assessments in the Midwest
- Gulf Coast retail asphalt and flux prices slip in some areas.
- Wholesale asphalt and flux prices remain unchanged for the week.
- Rockies wholesale was steady this last week of September–only one retail range changed.
- West Coast prices were mostly steady–only one selling range adjusted in Washington State.
- Asphalt selling and posted prices are steadfast in western Canada.
- Posted/selling prices in Montreal decreased following the MTQ tender. Retail prices in Toronto are flat.
- Crude oil prices surged higher on an unexpected OPEC production freeze agreement. November WTI closed at $48.24 a bbl, up $3.76 for the week
- December Brent crude soared over $50, ending the week at $50.19 a bbl.
- November Western Canadian Select oil (WCS) rose $4, closing at over $34 FOB Alberta.
