- East Coast retail asphalt prices mostly steady or modestly firmer – flux prices unchanged.
- Wholesale East Coast asphalt ranges flat or narrower; flux barge prices status quo.
- Midwest retail prices were mostly steady, with paving demand strong in most areas.
- Midwest wholesale prices were mostly steady for paving and flux grades this week.
- Gulf Coast retail asphalt and flux pricing remain status quo for the week.
- Gulf Coast asphalt and flux barge assessments unchanged.
- Rocky Mountain wholesale prices hold at July reported levels.
- West Coast markets mostly flat, with few exceptions, and the same for Hawaii and Alaska.
- Selling /posted prices are flat in most of western Canada. Alberta retail is in a wider range.
- Retail/posted prices decreased in Montreal. Price assessments are steady in Ontario.
- Oil prices recover modestly, with August WTI ending at $46.28 a bbl, up $0.87 this week.
- September Brent crude ends week at $47.61 a bbl, or almost a dollar higher for the week.
- August Western Canadian WCS crude firms by over a dollar, to $32 plus a bbl FOB Alberta.
- New Jersey halts over a thousand construction projects (see Industry News).
