- Paving activity restarts in earnest in the US following the Monday holiday.
- East Coast retail asphalt and flux prices were higher in many locations this week.
- Wholesale East Coast FOB asphalt range widened – CIF steady; flux barge pricing higher.
- Midwest selling ranges mostly steady–but a few changes reported for some locations.
- Midwest wholesale asphalt prices climb higher for June. Flux prices rise for June as well.
- Gulf Coast retail asphalt and flux prices were up in many areas to start June.
- Asphalt barge price ranges firmed modestly again this week. Flux pricing was also higher.
- Rocky Mountain area wholesale prices are mixed, with most going higher for June material.
- Retail selling prices rise in Nevada, but most areas are steady.
- June prices rise in Californina, with other West Coast markets steady.
- Asphalt retail/posted prices are unchanged in western Canada. Alberta wholesale is higher.
- Asphalt selling/posted prices continue to decline in Quebec. Prices are flat in Ontario.
- Crude oil prices ease, closing at $48.62 a barrel for July WTI.
- August Brent crude closes at $48.64 a bbl.
- July Western Canadian WCS crude ends the week just under $37 a bbl FOB Alberta.
