- Midwest wholesale asphalt and flux prices are status quo this week.
- Gulf Coast retail asphalt prices soften in several locations, with flux pricing unmoved.
- Asphalt barge prices are assessed stronger, with flux prices on the Gulf Coast steady.
- Rockies retail ranges are steady, with cold/snow arriving late this week in some States.
- Rocky Mountain wholesale prices are flat for April product.
- West Coast markets are steady, but assessments slip in Oregon. Alaska’s Index declines.
- Western and eastern Canada selling prices have weakened in most provinces.
- Quebec suppliers began posted prices this week. The MTQ held its first tender on April 12.
- Crude oil prices rise ahead of producers meeting in Qatar–May WTI closes over $40 despite falling back on Friday. May WTI ends at $40.40 a barrel, with June WTI at $41.75.
- June Brent crude reached mid-$40’s before settling at $43.10 a barrel, up $1.17 this week.
- May WCS rose to over $25 a bbl FOB Alberta, ($14.80 below May WTI).
