- East Coast retail asphalt prices weaker in several areas, with flux prices unchanged.
- Wholesale FOB East Coast asphalt prices streghtened, with delivered and flux prices flat.
- Midwest retail prices were adjusted for various April price changes. Selling ranges changed.
- Midwest wholesale asphalt and flux prices remain firm.
- Gulf Coast retail asphalt prices ease in some locations, with flux pricing steadfast.
- Asphalt and flux barge prices are assessed unmoved for the week on the Gulf Coast.
- Rockies retail ranges eased in a few locations, but most areas were unchanged.
- Rocky Mountain wholesale price range was status quo.
- West Coast markets slip in some areas like the Pacific Northwest. Hawaii assessed lower.
- Western Canada selling/posted prices weakened in most provinces.
- Eastern Canada retail prices are flat. Posted prices are expected to resume April 12.
- Crude oil price rose sharply—May WTI closed at $39.66 a bbl, up $3.03 vs. last week.
- June Brent crude surged to $41.93 a bbl, up $3.27 vs. last week.
- May WCS firmed a dollar, to just over $24 a bbl FOB Alberta, ($14.85 below May WTI).
