- East Coast retail asphalt ranges moved lower in some markets – flux ranges static.
- Some East Coast wholesale asphalt prices slip or narrower, with Flux ranges flat.
- No changes to Midwest wholesale and retail prices for this last week of July.
- Gulf Coast retail asphalt and flux prices decline in some areas for the week.
- Gulf Coast area barge and retail flux assessments are status quo this week.
- Late-July Rocky Mountain wholesale and retail prices remain flat.
- West Coast asphalt prices were unchanged this week, awaiting August prices.
- Western Canada retail assessments are flat in most provinces. Manitoba held a tender.
- Montreal held a tender this week. Quebec selling price ranges are assessed slightly lower. Selling prices in Ontario are steady.
- Oil continues to slide, with September WTI ending at $47.12/bbl, off $1.03 for the week.
- September Brent dropped to $52.21 a bbl, down $2.41 versus last week, or ~$5 over WTI.
- Canada’s WCS crude slipped by a dollar, to about $31 a bbl FOB Alberta for Sept. WCS.
- S. President Signs Three-Month Highway Trust Fund Extension. (See Industry News)
