- Midwest wholesale prices for January are in a narrower range for Chicago/St. Louis reference area, but vary substantially in other Midwest locations.
- Gulf Coast retail asphalt and flux prices are unchanged for the week.
- Gulf Coast wholesale asphalt prices slip slightly, flux wholesale remains steadfast.
- Rockies retail prices mostly steady—wholesale price range assessment narrows.
- West Coast markets are flat, but some Pacific Northwest ranges ease a bit lower.
- Western Canada remains very quiet and frigid, with asphalt prices mostly steady.
- Quebec and Ontario prices ranges are holding steady, with very limited activity.
- February NYMEX West Texas Int. crude (WTI) slips by $1.24 this week–to $92.72 a bbl.
- Western Canadian Select (WCS) eases to $73 a bbl—some $19.60 below WTI for February.
- However, February North Sea Brent crude firms to $107.25 a bbl—to $14.53 over WTI.
