Bloomberg: Shell, SK Corp Condensate Plants Will Tap Asian Chemical Demand
“Colin Shelley, U.K. based consultant at Poten & Partners report that “as many as five so-called condensate “splitters” are due to start up in the next six months”. “That may help boost condensate process, which have slipped this year”. At the Condensate & Naphtha Forum in Perth, Colin states “a number of companies are turning again to condensate splitters as a feedstock source, for some petrochemical production”. He is quoted as saying that he “expects the number to grow and China is a possibility.”
