Bloomberg: April Fuel Oil Cargoes Booked to Singapore at 2.6 Million Ton
“Fuel-oil cargoes currently poised to arrive in Singapore from outside Asia next month are at 2.6 million metric tons, or 17.3 million barrels, according to vessel-charter data compiled by Bloomberg. Eleven tankers, including eight very large crude carriers, have been booked to collect the shipping and power-station fuel from ports in Europe, the Caribbean and the U.S. and may arrive in Singapore in April, according to shipbrokers that include Poten & Partners Inc. in New York. Cargoes of 3.575 million tons of fuel oil are set to arrive this month, compared with 3.995 million tons in February, the biggest volume since at least July, according to the data. Singapore is Asia’s oil-trading hub and the region’s largest port for fuel-oil cargoes.”
