Doubling the SPR

In his State of the Union, President Bush declared plans to “double the current capacity of the Strategic Petroleum Reserve,” (SPR) a move that would involve increasing government reserves to 1.5 billion barrels of crude oil. The timeline for completion of this “ramp-up” is by 2027. Download here
