Ceyhan Rising
Bereft of traditional Iraqi Kirkuk crude oil barrels by the US invasion of Iraq, liftings from Ceyhan withered from their bustling activity of the late 1990’s. Despite the continuing unreliability of the Kirkuk-Ceyhan pipeline, this port’s lifts are exhibiting signs of rebounding lifting activity.
