Poten Proposes FLNG Berthing & Loading Joint Industry Project

Floating LNG solutions are being pursued worldwide. FLNG has obvious attractions for moderate-sized gas fields that are far offshore and face high onshore construction costs. Still, FLNG sponsors have struggled for an attractive risk-return which has led to cancellations of several FLNG projects. Many are concerned about the regularity of cargo transfer operations for exposed location FLNG and FSRUs.
