- Many East Coast retail and wholesale asphalt selling ranges move lower – markets active.
- Some East Coast retail flux prices decline for the week.
- Midwest retail prices were lowered in some locations this week. Others were mostly steady.
- Wholesale barge deals were at lower prices this week in the Midwest—rail was unchanged.
- Gulf Coast retail asphalt and flux assessments declined in many areas, flat in others.
- Gulf Coast area barge asphalt and flux prices are steady for the week, with active markets.
- Rocky Mountain wholesale prices were in a broad range for May—depending on supplier.
- Retail price assessed ranges eased lower for Arizona and New Mexico this week.
- Selling ranges lowered in Hawaii and coastal Washington. North California firmed a bit.
- Western Canada wholesale is assessed status quo for May—Selling prices are also steady.
- Asphalt prices in Quebec are assessed in a lower range. Ontario selling prices are flat.
- Oil prices were mixed. June WTI crude firmed 24 cents, to $59.39 a bbl this week.
- June Brent eased 7 cents lower this week, to $66.39 a bbl. That’s $7 above WTI prices.
- Canada sour crude was up $2, with WCS at ~ $51 a bbl FOB Alberta, only $8.40 under WTI.
