- East Coast retail asphalt price assessments were mixed again for the week, with flux retail prices flat.
- Wholesale asphalt and flux prices on the East Coast increased this week.
- Midwest wholesale prices firmed for May barges and to a lesser extent, rail supply. Flux markets were steady, with May prices yet to be reported.
- Midwest rack markets were slow in some northern markets due to poor weather. Prices were generally steady for the remaining April supply, with few exceptions.
- Gulf Coast rack asphalt price ranges are assessed lower or steady, with some flux ranges firmer.
- Wholesale asphalt price assessments on the Gulf Coast are flat or higher, with flux barge prices up.
- Rockies rack prices were steady this last April week. Activity was limited but is improving.
- Rocky Mountain wholesale prices were modestly firmer for May supply on sluggish demand.
- In West Coast, Pacific Northwest markets were flat. Meanwhile, California roofing flux material prices are assessed lower. Base grade material prices were status quo.
- Western Canada retail and wholesale prices were unchanged versus the previous week.
- In eastern Canada, Quebec posted prices were higher, with steady selling assessments. Ontario markets were flat.
- Oil prices were down this week for all benchmark grades, by around a dollar per barrel.
