- Retail asphalt and flux price assessments on the East Coast are mostly down for September.
- East Coast asphalt and flux barge pricing declined this week.
- Midwest wholesale asphalt prices headed lower as suppliers cut prices on barges and rail sales.
- Midwest rack posted/reference prices held steady in some areas and moved lower in others. Selling ranges declined in some locations. Flux prices were lower as well with declines noted for September.
- Most Gulf Coast asphalt retail prices are assessed down, with flux pricing flat in the region this week.
- Asphalt barge price assessments on the Gulf Coast are lower, with flux barge prices stable.
- Rocky Mountain rack selling prices slipped in many areas this week, on lower September prices.
- Rockies wholesale asphalt prices also fell somewhat for September supply.
- In West Coast, some Pacific Northwest locations had lower price assessments. California markets had no price changes versus the previous week. Alaska markets were lower, with Hawaii steady.
- In western Canada, retail markets were flat but wholesale market prices were lower this week.
- In eastern Canada, both Quebec and Ontario markets were status quo.
- Oil prices moved sharply lower for all benchmark grades since the previous Friday.
