  • Retail asphalt and flux prices rose in many markets on the East Coast to begin July.
  • East Coast asphalt barge prices in wider ranges throughout the region, with flux barges status quo.
  • Midwest wholesale barge range was steady, but rail asphalt prices were in a higher range this week.  Flux prices are assessed modestly higher.
  • Midwest selling prices moved higher in most areas. Suppliers raised posted prices for the start of July.
  • Gulf Coast asphalt and flux retail pricing increased in many areas for the week.
  • Asphalt and flux barge price assessments are steady on the Gulf Coast.
  • Rocky Mountain rack selling assessments increased in some areas. Suppliers raised prices for July.
  • Rockies wholesale prices were reported at higher levels. Assessed price ranges firmed as refinery operating problems continue.
  • Both Pacific Northwest and California markets had higher price reports for July.
  • In western Canada, both retail and wholesale asphalt markets were flat for the week.
  • Quebec and Ontario markets were unchanged versus the previous week.
  • Oil prices were mixed this week, with Brent and WCS crudes moved lower but WTI went up.
