26 Mar 2021 • Retail asphalt pricing firmed in some areas, with flux retail prices flat on the East Coast. • East Coast asphalt and flux wholesale pricing is unchanged, with no new deals reported. • A number of barge sales of asphalt were reported in the Midwest. Assessed range is narrowed. Rail wholesale is under negotiation for April supply. Flux prices were steady. • Midwest retail prices were mostly steady this week, with only a few ranges adjusted. • Gulf Coast retail asphalt and flux prices are assessed unmoved for the week. • Wholesale asphalt prices are slightly softer, with flux barges flat on the Gulf Coast. • Rocky Mountain asphalt racks were generally steady this last full week of March. • Rocky Mountain wholesale asphalt prices were steady–April prices under negotiation. • West Coast locations mostly had flat pricing for both retail asphalt and flux markets. • In western Canada, both retail and wholesale prices were status quo this week. • Ontario markets were flat this week. Asphalt posted prices went up in Quebec markets. • Crude prices declined again this week for all benchmark grades.
