- East Coast retail asphalt and flux prices lower in many areas to start October.
- Asphalt barge prices assessed firmer or flat on the East Coast, flux barges steadfast.
- Midwest retail selling prices continued to decline in many locations. Flux was weaker too.
- Wholesale asphalt prices headed lower for barges and rail in the Midwest, as did flux.
- Gulf Coast retail asphalt and flux prices are assessed unchanged for this week.
- Asphalt barge pricing eases on the Gulf Coast this week – flux barges remain unchanged.
- Rocky Mountain retail prices slipped in many spots, as heavy snow fell on Montana
- Rocky Mountain wholesale markets were reduced this week. Demand for it is limited.
- Asphalt prices dropped in the Pacific Northwest, with other West Coast areas status quo.
- Western Canada retail prices were status quo, except Manitoba. Alberta wholesale prices were down this week.
- Eastern Canada markets were down this week, both for Quebec and Ontario.
- Oil prices fell more than $2 a barrel for benchmark crudes on fears of a slowing economy.
